Ongoing Support for Vinnytsia Psychological Team

Part of our ongoing mental health initiative includes staying in touch with those we have trained in the past. While in Ukraine last December, Lena Denman met with multiple psychologists who trained at our May Mental Health Seminar.

The psychologists pictured received laptops from ACHF earlier this year. These laptops were funded by UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief and have been a huge help to our contacts in Vinnytsia.

These psychologists frequently work with veterans and civilians experiencing PTSD from some form of Russian aggression. Whether their PTSD is caused by the loss of their spouse, displacement from their home, or witnessing the horrors of war, these psychologists work to heal the mental trauma their patients are experiencing.

We are honored to be a part of Ukraine's mental health field through the work these clinicians are doing. ACHF plans to continue our mental health initiative and we are blessed to have strong connections to this group of individuals.

Thank you to UMCOR for providing the funding for Lena's trip to Ukraine this past month and the funding to support these individuals.
