Mental Health Reflections with Camila

Although this clip is short, it carries great significance for ACHF. In this video (taken in December 2024), Lena talks to Camila, who trained at our UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief-funded May Mental Health Seminar.

"In July, when I met with her she was considering working with virtual reality. Now she is focused on other forms of treatment for veterans, including the safe use of psychedelics at a new clinic she is working to open," Lena explained. "Camila said she would absolutely recommend ACHF's training to psychologists who practice in her clinic. I told Camila I appreciated that she is consistently searching for the best cutting-edge mental healthcare treatment for veterans in Ukraine."

Connections and testimonies like these truly mean the world to us. It is amazing to know that the training we have put together through generous donor funding and grant funding has made a difference.
