December Check In with Dariia

In December 2024, Lena Denman met with Dariia, one of our partner psychologists who trained with us at our UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief-funded seminar in May 2024.

Dariia often works with women who have husbands on the front lines. She is hopeful that if we have another seminar, we will focus on how to help soldiers who have seen combat reintegrate back into Ukrainian society. She also thinks it would be helpful to offer training on what spousal support can be provided for those who have partners on the frontlines.
