Cardiac Operation Conducted in the Dark

Surgeons at the Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital Житомирська обласна клінічна лікарня ім. Гербачевського, performed a coronary shunting cardiac operation in dark conditions. Electricity still has not been restored to this hospital two days after a mass shelling across occurred from the Russian Federation. The Arlene Campbell Humanitarian Foundation recently sent this hospital an operation table. Thanks to the generous donors of ACHF and grant funding from UMCOR- The United Methodist Committee on Relief surgeons in Zhytomyr continue providing life saving operations.
