Texas Medical Distributors Donation Recap

We are forever thankful to Ernie Cates for his donation of 7,542.56 pounds of humanitarian resources to Ukraine. Cates donated medical supplies through his business, Texas Medical Distributors (TMD), based out of Rockdale, Texas. His donation was worth $51,307.93 (USD).

Through the generosity of Cates and TMD, we were able to provide medical supplies to five different medical facilities in Ukraine. As Lena visited each facility in December 2024, the thankfulness of patients and staff members was unmistakable.

Cates was honored at our May 2 Gratitude Event hosted by the Ukrainian Club TAMU. No gift will ever measure up to this donation, but he graciously accepted a Ukrainian flag signed by defenders and veterans at a hospital in the Volyn Region – one of the hospitals that received TMD supplies.
