Aid Evaluation at the Ukrainian Children's Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery

On June 2, 2025, ACHF representatives visited the Ukrainian Children's Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery.

While visiting UCCC, ACHF President Lena Denman evaluated the recent shipment of aid that arrived at the hospital on May 16. The donation was worth $97,973.00 USD and made possible by Edwards Lifesciences and AEC Parcel Service, Inc.

"Of the catheters delivered, one was [already] in use. We were shown boxes of the heart valves and catheters. Of the heart valves, some boxes were being kept in a sterile location," Lena said. "Serhiy, the cardiac surgeon we talked to, explained how the aid was life-saving and so important."

We are grateful to have Lena back in Ukraine to continue to meet with our partner hospitals and organizations. It is only through donor support that we are able to have parties present in Ukraine, and we are thankful for your continued support.
