ACHF-Trained Psychologists Share How their Training is Impacting their Work
In December 2024, Lena Denman spoke to four clinicians who are working to mitigate PTSD in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. Each of the individuals in this interview was trained at our Mental Health Seminar (held in May of 2024). The four clinicians in this video are working on stipends provided by ACHF and generous grant funding from the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
Between June and October of 2024, five ACHF-supported clinicians (one was not available for an interview for this video) held 1,063 counseling appointments with Ukrainians impacted by the conflict. In total, all 19 clinicians who trained at our 2024 May Mental Health Seminar held 3,112 counseling appointments during these months. These appointments can range from 30 minutes to one and a half hours.
