Visit to Mass Grave Site in Izium, Ukraine

Two weeks ago, we shared the story of the House of Prayer “New Life” Church in Izium, Ukraine. Today, we are sharing more of the truth behind Russia's actions. Under Russian occupation, many soldiers and civilians in Izium lost their lives and were buried in mass graves in the forest just outside the city.

In this video, Pastor Oleksandr Bagriy of the House of Prayer “New Life” Church explains the conditions that many of the victims were found in. The Ukrainian government confirmed that of the bodies recovered, only 21 were those of military members. The other 415 were innocent civilians.

Today, we remember those who lost their lives to the Russian aggressor state. We pray for their families and for comfort for Izium. We pray that Russia will be held accountable for its war crimes and that the world will see the truth behind its terror. Russia wants to wipe out Ukraine, and has not hidden its motives.
