RDI and ACHF have flag signed by General Zaluznhy raise donations for Ukrainian Defenders

Retired Lieutenant General Ben Hodges, Lena Denman, Oksana Nekrashevych, and General Hodges' wife Alexandra Schwarzkopf. 

Ret. Lieutenant General Ben Hodges was kind enough to broker an agreement between the Renew Democracy Initiative and the Arlene Campbell Humanitarian Foundation to have a flag signed by General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, provided to a donor in a silent auction at the 2024 Heroes of Democracy Gala in New York City. General Hodges is the former Commanding General of US Army Europe (2014-2017)> General Hodges currently serves as a member of NATO Logistics. He served in command positions both in Iraq and in Afghanistan. The flag raised $1800 in proceeds with RDI and ACHF splitting the proceeds evenly. A private donor who wishes to remain anonymous donated $5,000 separately to ACHF. In total $6,000 USD was sent in an unrestricted grant to our partnering nonprofit in Ukraine, UNSPIA.
