What We’ve Accomplished:
(Physical) Kyiv Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1 is the 6th Hospital of 2022 to Receive Supplies
On Wednesday, July 5, 2022 Dr. Vitaly Demyanchuk of the State Institution Ukrainian Health Ministry Heart Institute Інститут серця МОЗ України distributed supplies from the Arlene Campbell Humanitarian Foundation sent with funding from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief. These supplies were distributed to the Kyiv Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1. Employees made two trips to the Heart Institute were made on July 6, 2022 and 3 trips the next day on July 7, 2022 to collect supplies for their institution.
(Physical) Kyiv City Clinical Hospital of Emergency and the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 2’s Burn Clinic Given Medical Supplies
The Arlene Campbell Humanitarian Foundation is grateful for the support of the Інститут серця МОЗ України State Institution Ukrainian Health Ministry Heart Institute and Dr. Vitaly Demyanchuk in the distribution of aid to the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 2’s Burn Clinic and the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital of Emergency. The Arlene Campbell Humanitarian Foundation has recently sent 1.2 million dollars worth of medical supplies and equipment for approximate customs value purposes through funding from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief.
(Physical) Shipment 4 Arrived at the Heart Institute in Kyiv
The Arlene Campbell Humanitarian Foundation is pleased to announce that our 4th shipment of 2022 consisting of medical supplies and equipment arrived at the the State Institution Ukrainian Health Ministry Heart Institute Інститут серця МОЗ України in Kyiv, Ukraine. This shipment’s transportation was paid for by UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief and the medical supply items were donated by OhioHealth. These supplies were transported by AEC Parcel Service. This shipment contained over 23,000 pounds of medical supplies and equipment. The shipment is valued at over 290k for approximate custom purposes. We are so happy to send these needed supplies. We are so grateful for our Ukrainian friends who provide healthcare to the people of Kyiv and the surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your continued support that allows us to send this aid dear friends!
(Physical) Shipment 3 Arrived at the Heart Institute in Kyiv
On Wednesday, May 4, 2022 Arlene Campbell Humanitarian Foundation is pleased to announce our third shipment of humanitarian aid to the State Institution Ukrainian Health Ministry Heart Institute Інститут серця МОЗ України in Kyiv, Ukraine, with transportation paid for by UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief and provided by AEC Parcel Service. We are grateful to Ohio Health for providing these medical supplies for donation. This shipment weighed 17,706 pounds and has an approximate value of $332k for customs purposes. We are grateful to work with Dr. Vitaly Demyanchuk and his hospital. Altogether these 3 shipments combined have an approximate value for customs purposes of $935k and weighed over 47,000 pounds.
(Physical) First Shipment of 2022 Arrived at the Heart Institute of Kyiv
On Wednesday, April 13, 2022 the Arlene Campbell Humanitarian Foundation announced that through a generous grant from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief the first shipment of the year was delivered to the State Institution Ukrainian Health Ministry Heart Institute Інститут серця МОЗ України. This shipment of medical supplies and medical equipment has an approximate value of $312k and weighed 14,177 lbs. We are very grateful to UMCOR for providing the funds for transportation. We are grateful to Ohio Health, for donating these medical supplies and medical equipment. We are grateful to AEC Parcel Service for providing the transportation. We look forward to our continuing to work with Dr. Vitaly Demyanchuk in aiding this hospital. Thank you dear friends for helping us save lives in Ukraine.
(Physical) Shipment 2 Arrived at the Heart Institute in Kyiv
The Arlene Campbell Humanitarian Foundation is pleased to announce our second delivery of medical supplies into Kyiv, Ukraine this year through a generous grant from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief with transportation provided by AEC Parcel Service. This shipment weighing 16,012 lbs. with an approximate value of 291k was distributed between the State Institution Ukrainian Health Ministry Heart Institute Інститут серця МОЗ України, the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Центр дитячої кардіології і кардіохірургії and “Ohmatdyt” НДСЛ Охматдит, the largest pediatric hospital in Ukraine.
(Physical) Children’s Center Received 12 pharmaceutical aid packages
On February 2, 2023 the Children’s Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Центр дитячої кардіології і кардіохірургії received 12 pharmaceutical packages including Simulect, Thymoglobulin, Sellsept caps, Prograf, Sandimun Neoral, Mabtera, Atorvastatin, Waltzite all in various milligram amounts as needed by the hospital. The Children’s Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery received this aid due to the generosity of our donors and grant funding from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief. This aid helps save children’s lives.
(Physical) Children’s Center Received 2 Pharmaceutical Aid Packages
On January 12, 2023 the Children’s Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Центр дитячої кардіології і кардіохірургії received 100 packages each of two pharmaceuticals: Esomeprazole and Aztreonam. The Children’s Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery received this aid due to the generosity of our donors and grant funding from UMCOR - United Methodist Committee On Relief. This aid helps children get well soon in the midst of war.
(Physical) Shipment sent through U.S.A.I.D. and U.S. D.O.D. Funded Transportation Program Arrived at the Heart Institute of Kyiv
On Wednesday, June 9, 2021 we loaded a container of medical supplies through a grant from the Funded Transportation Program, a division of U.S.A.I.D. and the U.S.D.O.D. The container was be sent by sea to arrive in Odessa, Ukraine. On Monday, September 27, 2021 the shipment arrived at the Heart Institute in Ukraine and was unloaded.
(Physical) PPE Sent to Heart Institute in Kyiv
On Wednesday, April 1, 2020 ACHF sent N95 masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) via private shipping to the Heart Institute of Kyiv. The items arrived April 8, 2020. We are aiding in the fight against COVID-19.
