(Physical) Mobile Cardio Clinic Visits Kyiv Region Orphanage

On June 8, 2023 our cardiac mobile clinic provided examinations to 52 children providing timely and quality medical care at an orphanage in the northern Kyiv Region. This cardiac mobile clinic is operated through the Фонд "Дитяче серце" - Child's Heart Foundation and supported with our funding through the generous donors The Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas. Due to the fact these children are awaiting adoption, and at the request of Ukrainian government officials, their faces are covered for privacy. The children from this orphanage either do not have parents or come from socially difficult backgrounds, so this is one of the few opportunities they have for an examination to receive advice from a pediatric cardiologist and cardiac surgeon. This region was previously occupied and infrastructure in the region is still destroyed. Now that these children were found to be healthy, their opportunities for adoption have increased.
